Tom Brady and Gisele Bundchen add finishing touches to $20m moated fortress with an outdoor play area for the children
Tom Brady and Gisele Bundchen are living like royalty in their new $20m Los Angeles fortress.
But after moving into the Brentwood abode last year, the couple have continued to add the finishing touches.
The cherry on the cake is a new private play area with the swings and slide located on a grassy hill with a walled garden area.
No doubt their children, three-year-old Benjamin and one-year-old daughter Vivian (once she is old enough), will be be big fans.
Father-of-three NFL star Brady, who also has a son John, five, from a previous relationship, and Brazilian model Gisele, 32, have no shortage of space at the 22,000sq ft, custom built compound.
The mansion boasts eight bedrooms, a six-car garage, a lagoon-shaped swimming pool with spa, a weight room for Tom, 35, to train in and a wine cellar.
The two wings are connected by a bridge and there's a nursery for Benjamin, a lift and a butler's room.
The couple bought the land in 2008 for $11million and had plans drawn up for the property which they then had amended as they didn't think the building was big enough.
Thankfully, money is no object for the young couple who are worth almost $90million, thanks to her modelling and his NFL contract with the New England Patriots, and various endorsements.
The house is located near the hills for the hike-loving couple who often go for long walks with their dogs.
Their neighbours will include Arnold Schwarzenegger and Heidi Klum and her singer husband Seal.
Tom also liked the location as he will be close to his son John from his relationship with actress Bridget Moynahan, who is best known for her role as Natasha in Sex and the City.
Gisele came under fire from environmentalists for building the huge home.
But she insisted that its construction is very environmentally-savvy using solar energy, energy-saving lighting, rainwater recovery systems, waste reduction and recycling programs, energy-efficient appliances and sustainable building materials.
