Eric Johnson and baby Maxwell were out and about in Beverly Hills on Tuesday doing some pre-Christmas shopping - possibly giving his fiance Jessica Simpson a well earned break.
The former NFL star looked quite the adoring dad as he tenderly carted his seven month old daughter around in the winter sunshine.
Johnson, 33, also visited a funky clothes shop and looked at T-shirts while baby Maxwell was held by a friend.

The former New Orleans Saints tight end was dressed down for the shopping spree in jeans and a casual plaid shirt.
His messy strawberry blonde hair was kept out of the way in a baseball cap and he also sported a semi full beard.
Brown suede loafers completed the look.

Baby Maxwell looked an absolute delight in stripey trousers and a soft pink cardigan.
She even had a tiny pink bow in her hair.
And on her feet she wore little fur-lined Ugglettes.

Meanwhile Jessica Simpson's new Weight Watchers campaign pictures were revealed on the same day.
The singer looks svelte and confident in jeans, a black top and a pretty pink plaid shirt.
She famously lost 60 pounds after the birth of Maxwell as part of her deal with the dieting giants.
However it is rumoured the 32-year-old is already pregnant again.
Neither she nor Johnson have confirmed or denied this but the news is said to have angered Weight Watchers bosses as it means she will be reneging on her contract.
Jessica added fuel to the fire last weekend by attending a friend's wedding in Los Angeles in a demure black gown and posing for photographs with her bouquet strategically placed over her stomach.
