Athletic Kate cuts a dash in her heels: Duchess tries to run in her towering wedges as she takes Lupo the dog to watch William and Harry play polo at Ascot
With her husband locked in battle on horseback, he should have been the one drawing plaudits for his sporting prowess.
But the Duchess of Cambridge once again stole the show as she displayed her athletic legs while attending a charity polo match in Berkshire yesterday.
The fitness fanatic teamed a sea-green frock with towering wedges that made her legs look even longer and more defined than usual.
But Kate isn’t the type of girl to let her shoes hold her back. When she wanted to catch up with William the sporty Duchess simply broke into a run and soon was striding by his side.
She had brought the couple’s dog, Lupo, along to watch the action at Coworth Park, near Ascot.
Kate was seen dashing across the grassy grounds struggling to keep to maintain her modesty as the £290.00 dress billowed in the breeze.
The scenes were reminiscent of the 30-year-old's 'Marilyn Monroe Moment' last year during her Canada tour while wearing a flowing yellow Jenny Packham number.
The buttoned-up teal petal print shift, currently reduced to £199, came from Hampshire-based label Libelula.
Ahead of the royal wedding, Libelula designer Sophie Cranston was rumoured to be Kate's dress designer of choice, although Sarah Burton for Alexander McQueen won the final commission.
Cranston's fashions have proved popular with a number of celebrities, including Emma Watson, Tamara Eccleston, and Jerry Hall, with her signature vibrant prints and timeless shapes.
