We wish it WASN'T blowin' in the wind: Neighbours complain of Bob Dylan's outdoor loo
Singer Bob Dylan
But some of his neighbours are singing a new tune about what is blowin' in the wind from his lavatory.
A family living near the 67-year-old musician's house in the California beachside community of Malibu have complained to city officials about an outdoor portable loo.
The toilet is apparently used by guards on Dylan's compound.
But Cindy and David Emminger say the fumes from the lavatory's waste treatment chemicals are being carried straight to their house by the breezes blowing off the Pacific Ocean.
The smell is so bad it is actually making their family feel ill, they said.
'It's a scandal - 'Mr civil rights' is killing our civil rights,' Mr Emminger told the Los Angeles Times.
But Malibu Mayor Andy Stern said other neighbours reported smelling nothing.
He said that he has left the matter to the enforcers of the city's code on objectionable odours.
'I really have not involved myself in Bob Dylan's toilet, and by the way I haven't involved myself in anyone else's toilet in Malibu,' Mr Stern said.
