And proving she can juggle motherhood with the demands of being an actress, Uma Thurman stepped into the role of a working mother on arrival to Heathrow airport on Friday.
With her partner Arpad Busson in tow, the 42-year-old was seen cradling baby Rosalind Arusha Arkadina Altalune Florence, nicknamed Luna, as the family exited the busy terminal.

Delicately placing her hand over Luna's head, Uma held onto her six-month-old daughter tightly as she journeyed along.

 

Taking care of the family's luggage, London-based French financier Busson - who celebrates his 50th birthday in Sunday - pushed a trolley stacked with suitcases as Thurman looked after their precious cargo.
As Luna looked cute in a pale pink jumper and black leggings, the Kill Bill actress went for glamour in a floor length brown fur coat as she continued to show off her large diamond ring.

The blonde wore her hair up in a bun while hiding her eyes behind a pair of black sunglasses.
Ready to face the weather in the capital, Uma wore a knitted grey polo neck jumper with black trousers and knee high boots, and as an extra precaution she also sported grey leg warmers.
The Pulp Fiction star, who recently wrapped production on Lars von Trier’s Nymphomaniac, was seen laughing and smiling as she chatted away with a family companion.

Uma has two other children with her former husband, actor Ethan Hawke, and she recently revealed that her teenage daughter Maya had a hand in coming up with little Luna’s long formal name.
‘[Maya] came up with the best excuse,’ the actress told late night American chat host Jimmy Fallon. ‘I probably wouldn’t get to have any more children, so I just put every name that I liked into it.’
She went on to say that she and Busson had a lot of discussion over the name.
‘We couldn’t quite agree on the name,’ she said. ‘We call her Luna, so she’s lucky that way.’

Thurman has been dating Arpad since 2007, and he popped the question a year later.
But following their split in 2009 before giving things another go in 2011 it seems the couple are in no hurry to take a walk down the aisle.
Busson has two sons, Arpad Flynn Alexander Busson and Aurelius Cy Andrea Busson, from his relationship with model Elle Macpherson.
